Joint analysis of remote sensing data on oil pollution by subsatellite ship measurements of hydrocarbons in the Barents Sea

Hydrocarbon pollution is one of the main factors of anthropogenic impact on the marine ecosystems of the Arctic, as hydrocarbons are among the most dangerous pollutants of the World Ocean. The results of satellite radar monitoring of oil spills distribution in the Barents Sea (2015-2020) and the results of ship-based measurements of hydrocarbons (HC) are correlated in an integral map. Sentinel-1A data (RSI) were provided by SCANEX/ ESA.
