This article describes the geological structure and the presence of aquifers in the studied territory of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly in the area of the mining industry using the example of sections of Orlik and Dubenka river basins, as well as Gubkinsky State Reserve, adjacent to the mining zone of Starooskolsko-Gubkinsky mining area. It is noted that the content of most of the ingredients in the water samples does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration, but for some there is an excess of fishery MPC. In conclusion, it was noted that, overall, the analyzed situation regarding the background hydrochemical state of surface and groundwater bodies in the area of the KMA mining industry is determined by the natural features of the region, as well as the economic, mainly residential and agricultural, activity on the territory.
