Oil in the Caspian oil fields are confined to large brachyanticlinal fold, which is part of a set of coastal waters of the Caspian Sea. The structure goes under the sea waters in the Caspian Sea. The oil reservoir mounted in the middle tier bayosskom nizhneaptskom Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous substage.
