At present time water area of the Northern Caspian feels powerful anthropogenic pressure associated with many factors. Isolation and study of microorganisms from bottom sediments is necessary for the assessment of ecological status of water area. Isolated from bottom sediments of the North Caspian strain described in this article, is promising for obtaining a biological product for cleaning petroleum hydrocarbons.
