The article discusses the Urengoy gas field, in the northwest Siberian basin, providing a geological analysis of its gas and gas condensate deposits. It has noted that the field’s condensate recovery factor – the ratio of its quantity of extracted production reserves – is a direct function of its overall quantity of oil and gas deposit reserves. At this stage, the critique states that the condensate reserves in the deposit are the product of its specific potential content in cubic meters of gas condensate reservoir (GCR) or dry gas per cubic meter. The paper has found that the reservoir pressure in the GCRs has undergone an accelerated decline in comparison with the oil-saturated strata underlying the developed gas-condensate field. Subsequently, the review notes that the received oil has a negative effect on the gas field’s hydrocarbon phase transformation, causing condensate recovery. In the bulk of gas-condensate wells, most of the output oil content comes from the residual oil reservoirs. The research paper examines the inter-reservoir relationship through their windows and the potential presence of lithological flows of fluids in their oil-saturated reservoirs. Field researchers, in determining the selection of the related petroleum gas treatment facility in the zones, have shown that Unit-by-2B has four oil wells, and that GPP-5V field of oil has come from the BU10-11 formation. Unit-8B, for its part, operates with seven wells. These laboratory measurements have revealed the presence of an impure type of oil, which comprises 2,9 % of the condensate’s overall production mass from deposits. Research has indicated that an increase in the maximum pressure at the initiation and during the condensation process would probably reduce impurities by 5% and the amount of condensate oil by 1,24 times.
