The work provides an assessment of the anthropogenic load of the agro-soil zones of the Penza region. The areas of land categories by agro-soil zones of Penza region are presented. The classification of lands according to the degree of anthropogenic load (AN) according to B. I. Kochurov was compiled. The factors of absolute and relative tension and natural protection of the territory are calculated.
