The relevance of the topic is due to the need to assess the Caspian region. In particular, a model is proposed for transforming the natural conditions of the entire Caspian region and, in particular, the territory of the Republic of Kalmykia. This is due to the fact that the data on the region described in the literature are diverse. The aim of the present work is to analyze the formation of the number of storeys of the vault located on the Precambrian foundation. The sharply dissected relief of the surface of the Precambrian foundation is a peculiar characteristic difference that arose as a result of disjunctive disturbances that divided the foundation itself into a system of heterogeneous blocks. Of the largest foundations, the Astrakhan arch can be noted. To solve this issue, modern geological data on the structure of the earth's crust were studied. We can state the fact of the relationship of the modern environment with geological processes that occurred from Precambrian to Mesozoic (Quaternary) times. All processes of historical geology are directly related to negative changes in the nature of the region. This is all associated with the economy of the region, the welfare of the population and human health. Expedition routes were conducted to study the current state of geology and geography of the region. Attention is paid to the relief and its formation, ravine-girder system and the current state of surface and groundwater in the Republic of Kalmykia. The main hypothesis of decision making when building a model is a synergistic algorithm. This algorithm allows in a single aspect to evaluate modern geological processes with a historical factor, these relationships are linear. Changing one or more parameters leads to system instability and environmental consequences. The results will allow us to really assess the process of transformation of the natural conditions of the Caspian region, the relationship of geology - the influence of water - man - ecology. These data are directly related to economic indicators in the region.
