The report provides new about the Kruglaya Hill (Matua Island, Central Kuril Islands). On the basis of petrographic, petrochemical and geomorphological studies, it was shown that the Kruglaya Hill is a natural geological object - a lava-extrusive dome of andesitic composition, the formation of which occurred, presumably, in the upper Pleistocene.
