One of the most powerful types of technogenesis is the development and operation of coal-hydrogen deposits. In the area of Volga - Ural Sands there are several gas condensate fields, the largest of which is Astrakhan Exploitation of deposits leads to the formation of special technogenic landscape-geochemical systems, where, as a rule, scattering of large masses of substances with a high content of elements occurs, which negatively affect natural complexes. In the arid conditions of the desert, the impact on ecosystems is complicated by limiting factors for living organisms - lack of moisture and poor soil. Geochemical features of the soils of the Astrakhan sand massif under conditions of prolonged operation of the Astrakhan monitoring, gas condensate field (from 2010 to 2017) are considered. The dynamics of accumulation in the soil of such trace pollutants as Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Ni, Hg is shown.
