In the conditions of intensive urbanization rates, with a high level of technogenic pollution and moderate, sharply continental climate, numerous factors of influence on the hydrographic network of Astrakhan are shown. The residential area is a complex ecosystem, with a high concentration in the space of industrial production and production of services, as well as vehicles and increased recreational load on the waters. All this leads to an increase in anthropogenic load on watercourses and increases their pollution. Comprehensive studies of water bodies of agglomerates using different methods in conditions of intensive multifaceted use of water resources is the most effective approach to improving the economic, socio-economic and geoecological conditions of the hydrographic network of the city. This problem can be solved by conducting field and laboratory studies using a chemical analysis method, since it is a system and takes into account the interaction of geo-, eco- and technosystems. Water bodies of the urban environment are a classic example of the geoecological system, being natural and anthropogenic objects, which are both a single and multidirectional interaction of natural, man-made and socio-economic systems.
