Monitoring of the problems of supplying the population with quality water in the Republic of Kalmykia shows that it is now necessary to develop better tools for monitoring water quality in pharmaceutical production. It is necessary to create an extensive database for analyzing trends and assessing the level of bioburden of the water supply system based on the results of continuous monitoring. To do this, it is necessary to evaluate the activity of water self-purification processes from the Elista water intake sites, to carry out laboratory and analytical studies of water samples from urban water intake sites and in the process of water treatment, to conduct water purification studies according to generally accepted methods for assessing the quality of drinking water.
