The factors of influence on the environment during construction and operation of geothermal power plants are considered. A conceptual model of the impact of the exploitation of geothermal deposits on the environment is proposed. An information approach was used to compile the model. The model is described in the IDEF format. At present, the issue of developing a conceptual model in the geothermal industry is poorly understood and relevant. The aim of the simulation is to summarize the known data on the negative impact on the environment in the development of geothermal deposits. Objectives of the study: to study the factors of the negative impact on the environment when developing geothermal deposits, to develop a conceptual model of the impact of the operation of geothermal deposits on the environment.
